I was at a friend’s house the other night who owns one of a series of paintings I did in ’05. I haven’t done a proper painting in a couple of years, and looking at it, I wondered why.
These paintings were all fleshed-out from sketches I’d done in many sketchbooks over the course of a couple years, like the one on the right, above. Below are a few more. I only have one of them hanging these days (Valla), but looking them up in the archives has been a nice a reminder to MAKE MORE ART !! *
*And to get better at photographic archiving; I’ve only really small jpgs of most of these, and none of quite a few pieces from the past 4-5 years.
