They are very common here- in fact, most often can be found (at this age) in a tank 10 for a dollar to feed to larger fish 😦 So, these two are rescue pets!
They are not koi- they are an Americanized breed that came originally from Chinese goldfish, called Sarasa Comets. They are similar, but narrower of body, and without barbels on the lips. Closer to goldfish than to carp, and very cute and hardy! Yes, these two are babies.
Cute! I’ve never seen them 🙂 i just have Harlequins and some Pearl danios for my tank right now 🙂 as well as a pleco, thinking about upgrading my tank to 30 gallon though to get some angelfish etc 🙂
Are they baby koy? i’m redoing my entire fish tank’s plants 🙂
