Profile on Moleskinerie

I've been added as this week's profile of a moleskine--addict on this website– fun! There are some selects from a few of my Moleskine sketchbooks and travel books on my flickr page, also, to which there is a link in the left hand column... (look for the black book with the electrofork skull on it)

some sketches from the NOLA moleskine…

The woman at the piano bar in Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop in the quarter; and a quick sketch of handsome Ben at same locale. (click to see full) Some of the folks hanging out at the Circle Bar on Lee Circle, just north of the CBD. (ditto with the clicking)

drawings from an art night

I've been tracking calendar-map hours along with freelance project hours, and just did a quick tally– since my return Monday night, I've clocked in 20.5 hours of cartography. Last night I did some drawings to take a break from it for awhile. (they all have prominent chins...)

Hand Drawn Map Association

I sent them my Block Island maps; they are numbers 152 and 153. It's a wonderful site I came upon during research for the calendar-map.

“Berlin & the nature of Abstracts”

Finally, a drawing! [It's been since 03/12. This one was done on 04/17. Too long in between]

These were done in a small accordion-fold Moleskine, called also a Japanese album. The accordion-fold sketchbook is pretty brilliant because you can make up your layout and… Continue reading more maps
