That’s a phrase lifted from Cary Tennis in today’s Since You Asked column. I think it makes a fine title and perhaps I will do a drawing for it. Or something. You can’t go wrong with the word scoundrel in a sentence. It has a theatrical flair. It evokes imaginary and colorful histories; ubiquitously nostalgic, like tintypes or sepia-toned images.

Carpetbagger has a similar effect. Fantastic words– these are conjuring words; bricks for the building of tales! Reckoning! Ruinous! Clamor!

The iMac™ had three transplants; a fresh LCD, a video card, and new processor. So far so good, but to put it to the test I shall open many apps– really make it sweat.
