I’ve been reading “Winter’s Tale” by Mark Helprin. Escaping into a magic, mythic New York covering the turns of two centuries has been a delight. The Lake of the Coheeries is across the river– New Amsterdam frozen in time. It imparts a fierce glitter to all things winter and icy (and allowed me to have slightly more appreciation for our own cold winter than usual). I’m near the end and will miss it after I’ve finished.
Today I designed a simple one-page site for Flygirl Iron. More things await; about fifteen pair cuff links and a handful of necklaces are in need of assembly; rugs in need of a hoovering; other things.
I had intense dreams on Sunday morning, and again on Monday, but wrote nothing down so the fabric of them has already faded.
