sweethearts

In keeping with the creepy theme from yesterday –and with Valentine's Day nearly upon us– above is yesterday's drawing-a-day. Aren't they sweet? (I've only been posting the ones worthwhile, but this sketchbook will be filled in a matter of months. Maybe less!)

Last night we made chicken breasts, kasha, and roasted beets from scratch. The beets take 45 minutes in the oven, but when they're done the skins just slide off and they are good.
