the deluge and a lack of ambition
That is to say, it's raining today and I'm still struggling a bit. It's getting better– but how difficult, how unsatisfactory to arrive at the end of a week with so little accomplished (as compared to what one had planned to accomplish). And not for a lack of time in this case, but a (seemingly… Continue reading the deluge and a lack of ambition
Equinox– nearly
Today began with a brutal sore throat and utter congestion, though it's much better now. First Spring head cold– hopefully the only. I've incorporated a cartographic element… Continue reading Clinton Hill house

Missions accomplished, and we followed it with a delightful (and delicious) lunch at Banjara on First… Continue reading the big town
Navy Yard
A stoic water tower upon rampart on the roof of building 3 in the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Windpower on the roof of a new LEED building in the Navy Yard. Snow in Fort Greene Park. Yesterday I went to the Brooklyn Navy Yard to shoot some photos for a client. These were some incidentals shots,… Continue reading Navy Yard
of magic
the magic hour in the city of lights I realized this morning that it was time for a new background image on my monitor - something colorful --not black and white-- but not yet the greens of spring and sunshine... I landed on the dusky blues penetrated by oblongs of warmth: the magic hour in… Continue reading of magic
