Exsanguination No.1 : A ritual bloodletting. A symbolic sacrifice to speed Winter on its intemperate way and make room for the upset of a new season; of change. Nature’s not kind nor gentle— why should art be?

This may become a series (though even the utterance decreases the odds), hence the number in the title. Thought initially it may have been more violent, but this one really turned out to be purely symbolic. We’ll see what happens if I embark on others.
