I miss writing. I haven’t kept up regularly on this blog –or anywhere really– for a few years now. I started a newsletter for monthly updates on my art; process, shows, new things in my shop, &c. And of course writings about my travels!
Now I’m going to consolidate, so that everything is in one place. That place is Substack; I guess it’s the new WordPress. It’s free to subscribe, and will stay that way. At some point in future, I suppose I may add some features or perqs for paid subscribers, but for now I’m just looking forward to getting back to some sort of regular writing practice.
I’d love it if you join me over there! This blog archive will remain in place, but everything new will be happening over at The Flat Files. Won’t you follow me there? Just enter your email and smash that subscribe button 🙂

Hello! I follow a few writers on Substack so far, and I guess it’s really quite similar to WordPress, but seems more streamlined and minimal. It also allows a post to be a ‘thread’ so it’s more s conversation- haven’t tried that yet. Anyway, It seems a good place to consolidate my writing / newsletters. So far so good— thanks for joining me!
