Here are a couple stills from a scene into which I’m working that oak tree drawing and the landscape I’ve been working on. I’m still getting the hang of working with cameras, and messing about with focal lengths and such, to get the depth of field. It’s slow going, but enjoyable.

so, what technique do you use? Do you take a photo and try and replicate the depth of field in a drawing? I may take up drawing again and try that!
Oh, in this case I’m doing it via ‘camera’ in Adobe After Effects, an animation app.
But it’s always good to pick drawing back up if you’ve lapsed!
