I’m on-site at Alice Tully Hall (Lincoln Center), working on the CFDA Fashion Awards, which glittering event shall be transpiring this evening. I’ve been working on the design and animation of the stage projections for the past month, but this is the first day we are actually on site, working with the physical set. There is no little chaos here. The whole place is on radio but everyone is sharing a single frequency, so it’s like having a dozen voices in your head at once. We are fine-tuning graphics in the midst of / between speaker rehearsals– it’s really pretty amazing how much is going on simultaneously.
I’m hungry… woke at five o’clock to get here by seven.
