Showing progress of underpainting done on Friday and Saturday. On Friday night, Kim and I had our most productive Art Night in about a year. This will be part of a sort of tripdych including the Clinton Buildings with map, plus a third piece to accompany this one– a map of Amsterdam. A continuation of the brownstone paintings of 2007– and drawing on connections (of scale, of aesthetics, of density) once again between Old Amsterdam and Breukelen, of our New Amsterdam, 400 years old this year.
