Opening reception

“the Leaving” in the gallery at Brooklyn Artists Gym

The opening was well-attended last night, and the show nicely curated, I think. There was a wide array of interpretations of the theme; from scenes of cozy interiors, to urban street scenes, to renderings bordering on the architectural. Though primarily made up of paintings, there was also photography, mixed-media and several sculptural installations, which took the theme to more abstract levels.
