Well, I haven’t done any drawings since about Wednesday of last week, but I have been working on re-visiting an abandoned canvas, begun last year in the summer. (Here is where it stood prior to this weekend.) It’s gone in quite a different direction from the monochromatic Amsterdams of 2007. I’ve incorporated a cartographic element in light of similar excursions in sketchbooks. There will be several more canvases to accompany this; more to come.
